To one and all.

Holiday Party Pretty, Part 1

by Miss Style on Friday, December 23, 2011

Yay! Finally, what I've been promising you is here. Part 1. Enjoy!
Also, here are all of the products I used.

A dream for anyone that loses their bobby pins as much as I do. $3-5 at any drug store.
welcome to hair basics. this is a comb. yep.

I always like to have a cheap strongest hold hair spray on hand, because it usually doesn't hold as well and is better as more of a spray gel for curls like these.

I love this! I use it on straight hair for more of a tousled look, and on curls when I want them to look a little more mussed as well. It's not a strong hold at all and is comprable to Bumble and Bumble sea spray, and it's much cheaper. It could use more of the gel aspect, but it's good for the price.

I hope you all enjoy my first tutorial and Happy Holidays! Look out for Part 2 (makeup) either tonight or tomorrow!

A preview of things to come...

A week of Stylish iPhone Photos

Rachel is one of my style ICONS. I saw this and I had to show you all. Rocking
the cute little girly dress with the moto jacket girl!

My friends give the best christmas presents.

This is what christmas looks like, Miss Style style.

Every pair of chucks needs that little bit of style..I've had these since 7th grade. They've gone through their share of wear and tear but as classy as I try to keep it, I always go back to these babies. They still have the cherry print laces I got at Hot Topic when I went through my "Good Charlotte is the best band ever" phase.

This Shall be going in my About section..

But here it is nonetheless!

If any of you were wondering who the original classy bitch was..

Polka Dots and Bad cameras

by Miss Style on Friday, December 9, 2011

Outfit stats since Picasa was being a douche:
  • Top from JC Penney
  • Jeans (Jeggings) from Target in the Juniors section (Shut up, it's cheaper)
  • Boots from Target

~Sigh~ I want to personally apologize for my shitty camera. My sister isn't currently home so I can't mooch off of her profesh Canon, therefore I had to result to my parent's Samsung. I know the quality is bad, but at least my outfit (or what you can make of it) was cute! We had sushi tonight, so after a long day of stringing up christmas lights in the cold, I decided to put on a cute outfit and some pink lip stain. I swoon for polka dots, and this is actually a pink polka dot print on black (again I apologize for the camera). I added the moto boots for a little bit of a "girly goes goth glam". Alliteration anyone?

SWAK! Pink lipstain from Covergirl.

Flower bangle from Forever 21.

Now to go not study for finals.

All I want for Christmas is Shoes.

by Miss Style

I know Mariah. You sung your heart out about who you wanted for christmas, and I'm pretty sure that song isn't really directed at anyone but a mirror. Allusions aside, I would like to mention who my "All I want for Christmas" song is directed at. Or more like what.

I guess we should make a list since Santa may be reading.

1. Loafer Wedges from Forever 21.

You all know how popular loafer heels are right now. And these are such a cute spin on the classic ones, I had to swoon! Pair them with a nice dark bell bottom and a lacy top, you're ready for a nice dinner out.

2. An Urban, Green Utility coat

This is from Target, and it's a bit more casheesh than I'm willingly able to spend ($49.99-I'm a cheapo), but I'm hoping it'll go on sale after christmas.. Army style is SO in right now, and a jacket like this would be so chic with dark jeans, and a collared button down under a neon sweater.

3. A new iPhone Case

This one is amazing and so stylish, it's from Society6 for $35. I mean, I have to have my phone looking fly as well as myself. It's my most essential accessory, after all.

4. A chiffon Party dress

Isn't this just the cutest? It's from Kohl's (there goes the cheapo in me again) and it's around $40. This thing's got all the trends for this season mixed into one--tiny pleats, deep red, and 70s style tiers. If I show up to the Christmas Party wearing this and some sexy black pumps, "tiers" will be shed. Pun intended, obviously.

5. New sunglasses..

Now, these are obviously intended for serious things. The bright green frames just scream "I'm going to a business meeting and it's sunny out", right? No no, but they are completely, irresistibly cute! I'm thinking these would be good to wear on our trip to Disney World this christmas...can I get an amen?

Dear Santa,
I promise to be good for the remainder of the year so you can either bring me these things or give me the dough to bring them to myself. The latter will do.
