Whilst visiting with family in the lovely town of Parker, Colorado, my sister and I decided to escape the drabness of moving my parents into their new house to Fort Collins. A quiet little college town, FoCo, so affectionately nicknamed by the natives, boasts many trivial pleasures. We dined on homemade tortillas and queso that was a bit reminiscent of popcorn (in a not so endearing way), then hit up a local Coffee shop for Italian Cream sodas. After our bellies were almost satisfied, we were disappointed to find The Worlds' Smallest Bakery (la Creperie & Bakery) to be closed on Mondays. We were denied sweet cravings such as Macarons and Crepes. In the midst of our sadness, we found a high class bakery that offered a small variety of cupcakes, and decided to settle. Blueberry lemon for me and Red Velvet for Madi. Worth $6.25? Maybe. I'm still mad about the bakery. At least I looked cute though! See the story in an Instagram adventure below.

Cafe MexiCali, Fort Collins, CO. Foodgasm, Popcorn queso (they didn't plan it that way, it just tasted like it)

Peach Italian Cream Soda, Average Joes, Fort Collins, CO

Buttercream Bakery, Fort Collins, Co

We stopped off at the CSU Oval (Where Madi goes to school) for lounging and silly pictures.

A lovely way to end the day.
